We had the privilege of recognizing two outstanding individuals with the Exceptional Employee Award at the 2025 Staff Retreat.
This award highlights employees who embody the UCSF Pride Values: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence. These values are the cornerstone of our department, guiding how we conduct our work, interact with colleagues and serve our patients. This award recognizes those who go beyond their regular duties, demonstrating exceptional commitment to enhancing the workplace environment within University of California, San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery (UCSF OHNS).
The Exceptional Employee Award was proudly presented to Lori Ross, PA-C, and Chérie Yung!

Chérie, Executive Assistant to Jennifer Grandis, MD, and Daniel Johnson, PhD, provides exemplary support, overseeing finance and accounting matters for the Head and Neck Lab.
