We had the privilege of recognizing two outstanding individuals with the Exceptional Employee Award at the 2025 Staff Retreat.

These values are the cornerstone of our department, guiding how we conduct our work, interact with colleagues and serve our patients. This award recognizes those who go beyond their regular duties, demonstrating exceptional commitment to enhancing the workplace environment within University of California, San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery (UCSF OHNS).

Lori, who works on the pediatric OHNS team at Zuckerberg San Francisco General, brings a wealth of knowledge to our faculty and exudes UCSF Pride Values in her patient care. Chérie, Executive Assistant to Jennifer Grandis, MD, and Daniel Johnson, PhD, provides exemplary support, overseeing finance and accounting matters for the Head and Neck Lab.
