Dr. Krista Schoppy earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology, with a minor in Human Biology, from Stanford University before receiving her medical degree from the University of Hawaiʻi. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Most recently, Dr. Schoppy practiced as one of only two pediatric otolaryngologists in Hawaiʻi while pursuing a master's degree in Qualitative Health Sciences at the University of Hawaiʻi. Her research focuses on sleep health disparities among Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Filipino populations, and she has received an Ola HAWAII research grant to support this important work. She also holds educational appointments in the University of Hawaiʻi's Departments of Pediatrics and Surgery and is board certified in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
Dr. Schoppy will care for patients at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Redwood Shores.
