The 2018 Lewis F. Morrison, MD lecture occurred on April 5th at Mt. Zion’s Herbst Hall.
Our guest was Alexander Gelbard, MD who is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Gelbard discussed idiopathic subglottic stenosis as a model of a rare disease that has unique characteristics that are non-genetic in nature and yet whose characteristics may have importance to the study of other disease processes. His keynote lecture was entitled, “Harnessing Digital Innovation to Transform Clinical Trials in Rare Diseases”.
Congratulations to Dr. Gelbard, the 2018 Morrison Lecturer!
