The Division of Sleep Surgery provides expertise on surgery for obstructive sleep apnea and snoring

The UCSF Sleep Surgery Center is dedicated to offering individualized care for patients with snoring and/or sleep apnea. Each patient coming for consultation can expect a detailed analysis of his/her history, sleep studies, and a thorough head and neck exam, followed by individualized recommendations for treatment.

We offer surgical treatments for sleep apnea disorders including:

  • Snoring
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Patients intolerant to CPAP or BiPAP
  • Nasal obstruction or blockage
  • Deviated septum
  • Turbinate hypertrophy

Benefits of Sleep Apnea Surgery include:

  • Treatment for sleep apnea for patients who cannot use CPAP or non-surgical therapies
