Andrew N. Goldberg, MD, MSCE, FACS, is Professor and Vice Chair in the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Goldberg specializes in surgery for Chronic Sinusitis, Inverted Papilloma, Minimally Invasive Skull Base Surgery, and Snoring and Sleep Apnea Surgery. He received his medical degree from Boston University, and he completed a one-year internship in general surgery at the Los Angeles County-Harbor/UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Goldberg completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine Eye and Ear Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology of Cancer from the National Cancer Institute, Center for Epidemiology and Biostatistics in Philadelphia, PA. He also completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Goldberg’s principle research interest involves the application of basic and translational science techniques to study airway inflammation principally in chronic sinusitis and asthma.
Dr. Goldberg is a UCSF Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators awardee with awards in Clinical Excellence and Education. He is a member of over 10 medical societies and academies. Dr. Goldberg has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, and he has contributed to over 40 book chapters.
