UCSF OHNS Welcomes Megan Durr, MD, FACS, to Our Faculty

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF OHNS) is pleased to welcome Megan Durr, MD, FACS, to our faculty.

Dr. Durr comes to us from a faculty appointment as senior physician at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Durr completed residency at UCSF OHNS, and we're excited to have her return. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and received a Bachelor of Science with High Honors in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.

She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery (AAOHNS), the International Surgical Sleep Society and the Society of University Otolaryngologists, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and a fellow candidate of the Triological Society.

Dr. Durr is an active leader in the OHNS community. She is on the editorial board of The Laryngoscope, the Chair of Sleep Surgery Programming at AAOHNS, and a member of the ACS's National Ultrasound Faculty, among other appointments and experiences. She was honored as a Kaiser Permanente Leadership Academy Selected Participant in 2021 and received the John Loftus Kaiser Permanente Innovation in Teaching Award in 2017. As a resident at UCSF OHNS, Dr. Durr received the Kelvin C. Lee UCSF Outstanding Resident Award.
