Charles Limb, MD, Francis A. Sooy Professor and Chief of the Division of Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at UCSF Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery was a featured panelist at the REACH Opening Festival, held at the Kennedy Center. Dr. Limb along with Kennedy Center Artistic Advisor at Large Renée Fleming, and Director of the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Francis Collins, were part of the Sound Health panel. The three panelists explored how music is processed in our brains, and how it might be used for medical intervention for patients with a variety of conditions. Sound Health is a partnership between the Kennedy Center and the National Institutes of Health, in association with the National Endowment for the Arts.
