Lauren Roland, MD, an assistant professor in the department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, is the lead author on a position paper published in the September issue of “International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology”. Her paper, “Guidance for contemporary use of biologics in management of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps: discussion from a National Institutes of Health – sponsored workshop” looks into the biologic medications that are emerging as options for treating chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRWsNP).
