US News and World Report recently released its annual Hospital Rankings.
The UCSF Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is ranked number fourteen by US News and is ranked first in Northern California and second in the West.
This top ranking is based on patient outcomes, patient experience, other care-related indicators, and expert opinion.

UCSF Medical Center is currently ranked number eight amongst other hospitals by US News.
