4th Bay Area Head and Neck Dissection Course

January 11-12, 2020. For the second year running, UCSF hosted the annual Bay Area Head and Neck Dissection Course for trainees from UCSF, Stanford, UC Davis, and Kaiser Oakland. Led by Drs. Fred Baik and Patrick Ha, the course covered head and neck ablative procedures, reconstructive procedures such as flap harvesting and inset, and midface/skull base approaches. Thanks to industry support, we were able to offer the course at no charge to the over 35 residents in attendance. We were also fortunate to have guest faculty members Dr. Keith Blackwell from UCLA, and Dr. Jason Chan from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as 15 faculty members from all four institutions. We look forward to continued events that bring the Bay Area residents together for educational opportunities.
