The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF OHNS) welcomes Royen Kent, MS, CCC-SLP, to our faculty. Kent will join the Voice and Swallowing Center team at OHNS.
Kent brings a unique blend of expertise to our team, having earned his undergraduate degree in Musical Theatre from Vanguard University and his graduate degree in Speech, Language and Learning from Northwestern University. He further honed his skills during his postgraduate clinical fellowship at Valley West Health Care Center in Oregon.
Kent's scholarly interests include voice, swallowing and upper airway care, covering gender-expansive voice modification, singing voice rehabilitation and cricopharyngeal dysfunction.
Kent will be at the Mount Zion and Bayfront locations.
