Kristina Rosbe, MD Receives Advocacy Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics

Kristina Rosbe, MD, professor and chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology in the UC San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, is the recipient of the 2021 Section on Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (SOOHNS) Advocacy Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Dr. Rosbe’s award recognizes her efforts to improve the collaborative relationship between the SOOHNS and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO). Dr. Rosbe has been a member of the AAP’s SOOHNS since 2004 and a member of the AAP SOOHNS Executive Committee since 2008. She is currently the immediate past chair and is now Chair of the AAP’s Surgical Advisory Panel.

"I am humbled and honored by the recognition with this award for my work as chair of the section to improve the collaborative relationship with our sister society, the ASPO, in working towards our mutual goals to provide the best possible otolaryngologic care for all children,” says Dr. Rosbe.
