Jennifer Grandis, MD Speaks on Gender Disparities in Academic Medicine on All Sides with Ann Fisher

A few weeks ago, The Lancet received backlash and was accused of sexism after describing women as “bodies with vaginas” on the cover of its latest edition. This was a topic of discussion on a “Wellness Wednesday” episode of All Sides with Ann Fisher, a two-hour, daily public-affairs talk show from WOSU Public Media. Jennifer Grandis, MD, professor in the UC San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, was a guest on October 13, 2021, to speak on this topic plus more about her studies on gender disparities in the medical field, particularly with career advancement in academic medicine.
