Lauren Jacobs, AuD is a clinical audiologist specializing in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. She provides patient-centered care at UCSF’s Mount Zion and Berkeley locations, with expertise in hearing evaluations, hearing aids, and prior work in cochlear implants, including research with Dr. Charles Limb, Director of the UCSF Cochlear Implant Program.

Dr. Jacobs earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis and completed her audiology externship at UCSF. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology and Music from Tufts University. Before returning to UCSF, she further developed her clinical expertise at the Stanford Ear Institute.

An East Bay native, Dr. Jacobs enjoys spending time with family, playing games with friends, and exploring her love of spicy food. She is excited to rejoin the UCSF community and contribute to its mission of excellence in patient care, education, and research.
