This educational event will focus on instructing residents from several Bay Area programs on essential Head and Neck ablative procedures (ie neck dissection, glossectomy, laryngectomy, parotidectomy) as well as commonly used reconstructive procedures (including free flaps and local flaps). The goals of this course will be accomplished primarily through cadaver dissections and hands-on learning in the UCSF anatomy laboratory. These dissections will be led by faculty and clinical fellows from UCSF. This event will provide an opportunity for residents in local programs to advance their skills in a variety of Head and Neck ablative and reconstructive procedures.
