Community outreach

The Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery team and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) believes that exceptional care isn't restricted to inside the clinic walls. We participate in various community outreach events to help bring health education directly to the heart of the communities we serve across San Francisco. 

 

We partner with schools, community centers, local organizations and public health agencies to host free screenings, informational talks, and interactive events—all with the goal of increasing awareness, reducing barriers to care, and fostering lifelong healthy habits.  

 

Whether we’re teaching the community about sleep apnea, helping adults understand importance of quitting smoking, connecting adults to head and neck screenings, or providing ear cleanings and hearing screenings, our outreach efforts are rooted in one mission: to provide comprehensive and compassionate Otolaryngologic care to the diverse communities of San Francisco. We are dedicated to training the next generation of Otolaryngologists and ensuring that all patients have equitable access to the highest quality care.
