Education

Our program is a one-year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Candidates would be guaranteed a breadth of clinical and operative experience with opportunities to spend time in a multitude of multidisciplinary clinics including Craniofacial Clinic, Aerodigestive Clinic, Birthmark and Vascular Anomalies Clinic, and Hearing Loss Clinic. Clinical Experience

  • 6 months Mission Bay Campus
  • 6 months Oakland/East Bay Campus
  • Operative time: average 3.5 days per week
  • Fellow OR time: Two 0.5 days per month
  • Clinic time: average 1 day per week
  • Fellow clinic time: two 0.5 days per month
  • Oversight and teaching on the inpatient service
  • Administrative/research time: 0.5 days per week
  • Call 1:4 weeks with attending back up call

Research

  • Faculty mentored research project(s)
  • Presentation at the Annual UCSF Otolaryngology‐Head & Neck Research Symposium
  • Presentation at a national meeting is expected
  • A minimum of one manuscript will be submitted for publication prior to completion of the program
