The Mount Zion audiology clinic specializes in a wide range of audiologic care for the adult and geriatric populations. Audiologists use a comprehensive test battery to assess various portions of the auditory pathway to diagnose a patient’s type and degree of hearing loss. Our clinic works closely with our Otolargyngology - Head and Neck Surgery department in diagnosing otologic disorders.
Once hearing impairment is identified, audiologists work with patients to recommend the most appropriate option for their hearing and lifestyle needs. Some devices we dispense through our clinic include: hearing aids (custom and non-custom), bone conduction hearing devices (BAHA), CROS/BiCROS, Earlens, Lyric, and cochlear implants.
UCSF Audiologists have providers who specialize in dizziness/balance evaluation, tinnitus counseling and treatment, and auditory rehabilitation.
