Mission Statement

The UCSF Children’s Communication Center (CCC) promotes the identification and coordinated care of children with hearing and voice disorders in Northern California by:

  1. providing coordinated care for diagnosis, management, and therapy;
  2. advancing awareness in families and the community through outreach and education; and
  3. conducting clinical and translational research projects. ­­

Beyond Newborn Hearing Screening: A Day of Discussion, Updates and Resources for Community Stakeholders

Our recent conference discussed the theme of "Beyond Newborn Hearing Screening," which was held on Monday, November 6, 2017. In collaboration with the Center for Early Intervention on Deafness and the Weingarten Children's Center, the CCC presented a conference for community stakeholders involved in the identification or care of deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
