Mission Statement

The UCSF Children’s Communication Center (CCC) promotes the identification and coordinated care of children with hearing and voice disorders in Northern California by:

  1. providing coordinated care for diagnosis, management, and therapy;
  2. advancing awareness in families and the community through outreach and education; and
  3. conducting clinical and translational research projects. ­­

Beyond Newborn Hearing Screening: A Day of Discussion, Updates and Resources for Community Stakeholders

In collaboration with the Center for Early Intervention on Deafness and the Weingarten Children's Center, the CCC is presenting a conference for community stakeholders involved in the identification or care for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. The theme of this one-day conference is "Beyond Newborn Hearing Screening." All are welcome, especially early interventionists, administrators, SLPs, audiologists, pediatricians, otolaryngologists, and families. The conference will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017.
