It gives me great pleasure to welcome JoAnn Czechowicz, MD to the UCSF Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery team.
JoAnn joins us from Seattle Children’s Hospital where she recently completed her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. She accomplished her residency training and MD degree at Stanford University. JoAnn is a graduate of Carleton College where she earned a BA in Biology.
JoAnn has had concentrated experience in global health and has worked on significant projects in Kenya , Peru, India, and Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. She also spent some time at the NIH. Part of JoAnn’s focus will be to continue projects of this sort within the global health community here at UCSF.
JoAnn will contribute to both the Oakland and the San Francisco campuses of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Please join me in welcoming her to UCSF!
