Please welcome Aaron Tward, MD, PhD, to the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery!

Dr. Tward attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree and came to UCSF as an MSTP student where he earned his PhD under Michael Bishop’s tutelage and his MD degree. He trained in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in the Harvard Combined Program, and completed a two year neuro-otology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  Dr. Tward will be practicing in the Otology/Neurotology Division of the department and he will be responsible for bench research pertaining to the origins of head and neck cancer.
