Objectives

  • Recognize hypopituitarism or anterior pituitary hormone excess in patients who have pituitary adenoma
  • Outline an approach for evaluation of pituitary function in patients with pituitary adenoma
  • Ascertain whether patient is likely receiving appropriate treatment for hypopituitarism during the office encounter with the patient who has pituitary adenoma
